Maureen Daniels, BScN, RN, is a Special IBTA Advisor and lives in Toronto, Canada.

She is a registered nurse and has been Coordinator of The Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, in Toronto, Canada for 15 years.

Prior to that Maureen spent a decade working in neurosurgical intensive care. For over 20 years, she has been a facilitator of support groups for patients living with brain tumors and their families.

Throughout her career, Maureen has been extensively involved in patient education and program planning, In addition, Maureen works with The Canadian Alliance of Brain Tumour Organizations (CABTO) an organization which provides a patient’s perspective on issues of importance for brain tumour patients and families affected by a brain tumour, along with doing advocacy work at both the national and international levels.
