[10 June 2015] Over the past week, copies of the 2015 world edition of our Brain Tumour magazine have been landing in the letterboxes of subscribers in over 110 countries across the globe. This year’s edition was launched at the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting (ASCO 2015) in Chicago. Visitors to the IBTA booth in the ASCO pavilion were among the first people in the world to view the magazine and we were delighted at the amount of positive feedback we received.
Now in its sixth edition, Brain Tumour is the only magazine produced for the global brain tumour community. It features articles and interviews with eminent neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, researchers and other health professionals from around the world. It contains stories from patients, carers and patient advocacy organisations, including reports from the IBTA’s two awareness raising activities: The Walk Around the World for Brain Tumours campaign and International Brain Tumour Awareness Week.
The 2015 edition of Brain Tumour is now available to view online here. We would once again like to thank all the contributors to the magazine – it is your willingness to share your stories which makes the publication possible. We are now on the lookout for articles for the 2016 edition – if you wish to submit a story idea for consideration then please contact us, we’d love to hear from you!
