A new infographic published by the All.Can initiative explains why cancer care efficiency matters and how it can be improved. As highlighted in the graphic, efficient cancer care delivers the best possible health outcomes using the human, financial, infrastructural and technological resources available. As well as highlighting the many negative consequences of inefficient cancer care, the graphic illustrates six ways in which greater efficiency can be achieved in cancer care.
All.Can was an initiative established in 2016, in which the IBTA is a founding member, and is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative to inform and generate political and public engagement on the need to improve efficiency in cancer care, by focusing on what really matters to patients and society. All.Can seeks to make sure resources are directed towards achieving better health outcomes while contributing to health systems’ overall sustainability.
